On March 2, 2021, a training seminar for outreach workers working with key populations such as PWID and SWs was held at the regional center for the prevention and control of AIDS in the North Kazakhstan region.

The training for the participants of the seminar was conducted by the acting head of the epidemiological department of the RC AIDS Natalia Gordymova and the chairman of the ALE «Phoenix». In particular, the issue of organizing and conducting counseling among vulnerable groups on the principle of «peer-to-peer» was considered.

The event took place within the framework of the «NGO Day», which is included in the national project «Marathon of Good Deeds» for the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
