On May 14, in Petropavlovsk, in the «CITY MALL» shopping and entertainment center, the North Kazakhstan Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS held a campaign to raise awareness among the population on the prevention of HIV infection. The campaign was held within the framework of the World Remembrance Day of AIDS Victims.

Experts of the AIDS Center Tatiana Vasilievna Saykina, Oksana Sergeevna Simukhina and a representative of the NGO Phoenix ALE, Karlygash Kakimovna Akinova, offered consultations to the population about HIV and AIDS. Informational and educational materials were also distributed. Nurse, Oksana Viktorovna Borovikova conducted express testing for everyone.
