In Petropavlovsk on January 28, a joint meeting of specialists from the North Kazakhstan Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS with the staff of the Center for Mental Health in North Kazakhstan and primary mental health centers at polyclinics was held.

The meeting summarized the results of joint work on the prevention of HIV infection among people who inject drugs (PWID) in 2020 and developed a strategy for interaction for 2021. Much attention was paid to the issue of introduction of examinations by express tests of PWID, who applied to narcologists in primary mental health centers at polyclinics, as well as in the regional CPH.
